When a coconut tree is tapped, it produces a naturally sweet, nutrient-rich “sap”; that
exudes from the coconut blossoms. This sap is very low glycemic and contains 17 amino acids,
minerals, vitamin C, broad-spectrum, B vitamins, and has a nearly neutral pH.
Our Raw Coconut Syrup is made in a dedicated enclosed facility. The machines used in its processing and religiously sterilised after each production run, and adhere to the strictest allergen protocols. Small batches ensure that our pure, low glycemic nectar, made from this natural sap, is a raw,
enzymatically alive product, minimally evaporated at low temperatures (only to remove excess moisture and allow sap to thicken), never exceeding an average summer day in the tropics. Some syrups are hydrolysed at temps up to 140° F.
The coconut syrup process is free from bleaching agents and preservatives. Coconut nectar has the benefit of being a raw, pure sweetener that retains all of the health benefits, while other sweeteners lose most of their nutritional value through heating and processing.
The syrup can be used as a sweetener and used in daily food intake. A healthier alternative to common white sugar, as well.
